Our Bare Lake Party

Bare Lake - This past weekend, we drove a few hours from the city into the quiet countryside of upstate New York. We were headed to the FKK Upstate NY Summer Assembly at Bare Lake Nudist Club. Last year was slightly different, as Steve and Susanne hosted a FKK assembly at their goat cheese farm. But we found Bare Lake was a great new place to be and with the horses and chickens, it was a lot like being on a farm again!

Right now it's an unofficial, contribution-based private naturist club located on 32 acres near Corning, NY. Owners Aric and Colleen have been developing their acreage to create a small nudie sanctuary. At the center is a pond bordered by green grass and trees for shade. Beyond this pond area we're surrounded by woods and fields of wheat. Just across from the pond is a clubhouse with a complete kitchen and porch w here they prepared our meals. A level grassy area nearby is earmarked for parking and tenting. They also have trailers and additional beds in the clubhouse for overnight stays.
A rocky road leads up to their chief house where they've a hot tub and game room with a pool table and karaoke. This is where they have hosted some little indoor naked parties in winter months. Next to the hot tub they are now doing construction to incorporate an indoor pool.
We had a small group of FKK'ers attend, and we all hung out with some local Bare Lake regulars. The weather was mostly sunny and warm, though some of us got a little too much nude sunlight! During the day we hung out on the banks of the pond, went canoeing, some naked swimming and flew into the water via their docked water slide. Jordan brought his fly fishing gear, so many had a good time learning the best way to fly fish in a pond teeming with sunnies, bass, trout and also some giant catfish.
All in all it was a pleasant, relaxing weekend with good friends, good food and getting back to nature. Have a look at our jpg gallery below!
